Over the last couple of years, mobile phone companies have gone out of their way to develop wireless headsets to give more convenience for mobile phone users. As the name implies, these devices are typically free of any wiring connecting it directly to the cellular phone and relies on Bluetooth technology to allow the user to converse with a caller hands free.
Because of the convenience, and admittedly the appeal of these gadgets, they have become gradually more and more popular since the first time they were introduced. Because this popularity, the developers have increased their efforts in bringing the technology to even greater heights by making these contraptions smaller and easier to use.
One of the most recently released, and I might add, widely anticipated of these devices is the BH – 804. So how does Nokia’s smallest Bluetooth headset rank against the competition? Read on and find out.
Looks And Feel
One of the first things that people notice is the way these devices are designed externally. If it doesn’t look all that appealing to the public, then chances are it’s not going to sell all that well either. The Nokia BH – 804 does a pretty decent job in when it comes to presentation.
Sure there isn’t that much design to the unit itself to make it more of an eye-candy. The simplicity in how it was manufactured gives it a more elegant look than other brands out there today. As the smallest Bluetooth headset ever created by Nokia, it fits quite perfectly when you try it on.
There is also an adjuster which you can use if you’re not a hundred percent comfortable with the standard fittings. In conclusion, the BH – 804 may not be the most stylish Bluetooth headset on the market, but it certainly does its job when it comes to looks by emitting an elegant look whenever you’re using it, and by being made for comfort rather than style. This definitely gets a thumbs up for me.
Features
Okay. If you’re the techie type, then you’re probably going to be looking at the features rather than what your see. Because the Nokia BH – 804 is the smallest Bluetooth headset made by the company, you might have some reservations or some doubts about how well it performs because of its size.
You’d be pleasantly surprised to know though that this model is jam packed with the best features that the manufacturer can offer its customers. When it comes to features, it’s always about the audio for me.
This model will definitely not disappoint in that department. The technology applied in this headset allows users to experience the best audio quality that Nokia can offer, with less noise, and even lesser weight on the ears.
It might be a little hard to believe that so much effort has been put into Nokia’s smallest Bluetooth headset, but you really won’t believe the quality of the audio unless you try it out for yourself.
The second thing that most people will ask about these gadgets is the battery life. The Nokia BH – 804 can last for around 6 days on standby mode and will more or less give you an hour and a half of talk time. Sure an hour and a half is one of those been there done that features. But hey, for something this small and convenient to use, it’s still worth it.
Cost
For those who aren’t really fans of the brand or fans of the devices themselves, you might find that the price of the smallest Bluetooth headset made by Nokia is a bit on the expensive side.
Don’t let this fact dissuade you from buying this though because the money you spend on it is well worth the merchandise you’re getting. With a nice design that also gives you comfort complete with all the other features that have been jammed into this gadget, you’ll be completely satisfied with the Nokia BH – 804.
